He was a talent unlike no other and he will be sorely missed. I do not know if anyone can take his place, but I am sure there will be some who can come close. Players like Sergio Michel.”

Previously, in 2020 Sergio went on a US national tour with Soulfly & Toxic Holocaust. ConcertHopper wrote, “Next up was Sergio Michel which, admittedly was something very unique in the world of heavy music for us at ConcertHopper. Stepping to the microphone was Sergio Michel himself, the namesake of the group, a wine-colored flying V styled guitar slung over his should. {cont}.... about to unleash an insanely skillful performance upon the unsuspecting onlookers. {cont}.... obviously incredibly skilled and technically proficient {cont}.... and all of this led to a very technical performance that could certainly be comparable to Steve Vai or Joe Satriani but for those who have a desire for a much heavier sound while still remaining technical.”
